MAIN OBJECTIVE: Increase the competitiveness of the peach industry cannery through developing new varieties of early and late production, better orchard management practices and fair calculation of equilibrium price of the product.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  • Genetic breeding focused in early and late varieties.
  • Improvement of the orchard management practices related with thinning and harvesting
  • Develop an equilibrium price model that guarantees profitability for both producers and the canning industry.
